The Thera-Med Coccyx Diffuser Cushion is an ergonomically designed orthopaedic cushion that provides pressure relief on a bruised coccyx and tailbone to help alleviate the pain. This compact portable cushion is suitable for use on any type of seat at home, in the office, or in the car.

Product Features:

• Designed to treat coccydynia (inflammation of the coccyx or tailbone which causes pain especially when sitting), which can be the result of a fall, extended sitting on a rigid surface, degenerative joint issues, pregnancy or childbirth (Always seek a diagnosis from your doctor as there are causes for pain in this area which cannot be treated using this product.)
• Consists of a layer of high density traditional foam between two layers of visco-elastic memory foam
• The memory foam is temperature sensitive, so it uses the body warmth to conform to the body shape to improve comfort
• The inner core of traditional foam provides continual support and prevents flattening of the pad under repeated use
• The unique cut-out section suspends the coccyx, which reduces the painful pressure to the coccyx region that can occur while seated (it will reduce the sensitivity and pain associated with sitting for long periods of time)
• Covered with Dura-Fab, a soft and easily cleaned washable polyester fabric
